Autumn 2009 News Letter

Valiant Fight Night 25th September 2009
This event was another great success enjoyed by all with 13 Boxers from Trinity Boys Boxing Club performing on the night. We had four new Boxers whom made there competitive debuts including our new Heavyweight Sean Gunn. Craig Bonney accounted for beating another Irish National Champion and all the hard work we see in the Gym from Andy Cushen finally prevailed with the performance of the night, Also Sean Oliver, Dylan Leech, Conor Tyrell, Joshua Mc Donnell and Ian Garry all Boxed at Senior Level so congratulations to all Boxers for excellent performances. On behalf of the Club I would like to thank all who attended and supported this event.

County Dublin Leagues 2009/10 Boxing Season

Trinity Boys Boxing Club weighed in a team of 16 Boxers for the County Dublin League Championships in various categories on 4th October 2009, Boxing Commenced on Monday 12th October and will continue through until December 6th 2009. Unfortunately the time frame given for Boxers to compete is normally 24/48 hrs this is due to so many entrants and Boxers normally compete on Monday or Wednesday of each week however we will endure to give as much notice as possible to all participants. All Boxers/Entrants must be aware when travelling to compete they must bring a Towel, Gum shield, Hand Wraps, Groin protector, Both Red/Blue Shorts and Vest and Red/Blue I.A.B.A. approved Headguard’s as they will not be able to compete without this equipment due to strict Rules set out by the Dublin County Boxing Board. Should you have any queries regarding this please don’t hesitate to ask at the Club.
